TIGER SPECIALIST CLINICS

BrisEast Netball will be running TIGER SPECIALIST CLINICS during Term 3. These small group sessions are offered to clubs from MDNA and RNA and will focus on developing skills and confidence in our region’s club players.

Coordinated by CLC TIGER HSS Coaches and Players, these small group clinics will include attack and defensive skills, error detection and correction as well as court specific drills.

TIGER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS

The BrisEast Netball TIGER clinics provide the development opportunity for players, coaches and umpires, from the BrisEast member associations, Metro and Redlands. Our 2022 season has already seen Coach the Coach sessions, specialist shooting sessions and we are currently taking registrations for the 2022 Emerging Tigers Squad.

The Emerging TIGER Squad is for 15 – 18 year olds and in 2022 the program will include S&C, nutrition, injury management and prevention and mental health presentations as well as specialist skill and court sessions with some of the top coaches in Queensland. The ETS has provided the opportunity for up to 50 young athletes to be part of a unique development program designed to educate and enhance the wide range of skills required to become an elite netballer. It has also enabled these young athletes to access coaching from the talented TIGER HSS coaching team.

The Future TIGERS Program targets 12 – 14 year olds and offers specialist coaching opportunities as well as skill development. The 2022 Future TIGERS program will run in Term 4. The program schedule and all details will be posted here early in September.
